Orok Duke: Media Team Celebrates NDDC Commissioner on His Birthday





The Media Team of Rt. Hon. Orok Duke PhD, Commissioner representing Cross River State at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Board, has joined friends, colleagues, and associates to celebrate him on the occasion of his birthday today, 24th July 2025.

In a series of goodwill messages, the team and other well-wishers extolled Dr Duke’s leadership qualities, achievements, and contributions to humanity, describing him as a visionary public servant and exceptional leader.

Kelvin Obambon described him as “a great scholar, political avatar, community leader and consummate democrat,” wishing him continued favour and blessings in the years ahead.

Josephine Effanga celebrated his “inspiring journey of excellence, kindness, and unwavering dedication,” adding that his life has touched countless people through his wisdom and generosity.

David Effiong Ekarika prayed for wisdom, strength, grace and long life, describing him as an inspiring figure and an unwavering support to many.

Dr J. I. Ofem anchored his goodwill on the biblical passage Jeremiah 29:11, praying for God’s guidance, joy, and peace in Duke’s life.

Mark H. Eneng lauded the Commissioner’s resilience and achievements, emphasising his hard work, persistence and consistency in leadership and service.

For Missang Akpet, Dr Duke is “a dedicated public servant whose tireless efforts to drive positive change and uplift the state have inspired many.” He commended his passion, vision, and commitment to serving others.

Efio-Ita Nyok PhD expressed wishes of health, wealth, and longevity, while Deborah-Oyo E. Oyo hailed his legacy of impact and prayed for more platforms to showcase his political expertise and passion for people.

Amb. Ukorebi Esien described him as a “24/7 leader” who embodies “tireless service, bold leadership, and unwavering dedication,” noting his symbolic birth date of 24/7.

Hon. Prince Ita Nyoki from Bakassi Local Government Area praised Duke as “the voice of the south” and an inspiration in NDDC’s mission, while journalist Frank Ulom prayed for long life, prosperity, wisdom, and strength to keep delivering on his mandate.

The Media Team, in celebrating their principal, said Dr Duke’s leadership on the NDDC Board has brought “testimonies upon testimonies” for Cross River State, noting his unwavering commitment to service and community development.
