  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved the composition of sub-committees for its 2026 National Convention, as part of preparations to ensure a transparent, credible, and well-coordinated process. According to a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the committees will oversee critical aspects of the convention, including the screening of aspirants, elections and appeals, security, finance, media and publicity, logistics, accreditation of delegates, legal matters, medical response, and overall coordination of the event. In further demonstration of his commitment to the welfare of the people of Cross River Central Senatorial District, the Senator representing the district, Senator Eteng Jonah Williams, on Saturday facilitated the distribution of relief materials to several communities in Ochon Ward of Obubra Local Government Area and Ofutop II Ward of Ikom Local Government Area.
