  Staff and students of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) are celebrating a major institutional milestone following the release of accreditation results by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The Vice Chancellor, Professor Francisca Bassey, announced the results on Thursday, April 23, 2026, during an emergency Senate meeting held at the Calabar campus.  She announced that all academic programmes presented for accreditation in November and December 2025 received full accreditation, with the exception of one programme, which was granted Interim Accreditation.
