Ayade Home Healthcare DG defects to APC, says the Governor has redefined politics and Development in C/ River State




Director General of Ayade Home Healthcare, High Chief Dr. Genevieve Barnaby has described the recent defection of Cross River State Governor, Senator Prof Ben Ayade from PDP to APC as a pathway to the centre to attract more developmental strides to State especially in the Healthcare sector and AYADECARE programs.


She revealed that the atmosphere in the state is stable and the people are excessively happy for the path the Governor has chosen after alot of distraction ranging from court cases and external factors interference in the politics of Cross River State.


"I can tell you, there is no instability whatsoever in Cross River State. Is it instability in terms of development, in terms of good governance, or in terms of how the programmes are going on? What you call instability exist in the mouths of people who are frustrated and politicians lacking in vision.


Let them show us what they did when they had opportunity at the national level or even at the state level. We are waiting for them comes 2023. The truth of the matter is that PDP has died a natural death in Cross River State, the symbol of the state; the outstanding performer of our time has abandoned PDP. So, it has died naturally.


She disclosed that modalities has been concluded for her and her teeming supporters to formally register in her Political ward in Akpabuyo Local Government Area in the coming weeks. 


"As a strong follower of my Governor, I assure the public and everyone around me that I have moved with the Governor to APC and will urge all my supporters to do same for the development of the State and her Healthcare  scheme.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.  The visit centered on establishing a strategic partnership to protect and secure public utilities across the state from vandals and criminal elements.
