Elder Ayara returns back to APC



Leaders of Ewen polling unit in Ito/Idere/Ukwa Ward at Odukpani Local Government Area formally received Elder Emmanuel Ayara back to All Progressive Congress (APC).

Elder Emmanuel Ayara was one of the founding members of APC in Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State.


During his speech, he used the occasion to thanked the Governor of Cross River State - His Excellency Senator Prof Ben Ayade for his good works and applauded also the Executive Chairman of Odukpani Local Government Hon. Justina Edem and her Vice for an excellent performance in just one year in office.


The philanthropist described his coming as a glorious home coming which will help unify and further multiply the party strength in the ward to win elections while also pleading with Governor to appoint more Odukpani sons into his cabinet.

He concluded by saying that he would cooperate with the APC family and would be loyal to community development.

Those that  witnessed the defection occasion of Elder Ayara Nsugho are as followed;  Mr. Nya Inyang Nkwo aka Sly (Immediate Past APC Chapter Chairman Odukpani LGA), Comr. Asubara Asuquo - Ward Caretaker Committee Chairman and the Pioneer Secretary APC Odukpani Chapter - Rev. Destiny Raphael.

Also in the event were  friends of Elder Ayara among whom are 
 - Hon. Ekuma Ngwu JP Director Ecological Preservation/Special Duties, CRS ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY, who announced his defection at Biase some days ago, Hon. Daniel Enang (Secretary of Council, Biase LGA), Mr. Dien Obo and the former  NACRISS WORLDWIDE PRESIDENT - Comr. Awatt Eso.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.  The visit centered on establishing a strategic partnership to protect and secure public utilities across the state from vandals and criminal elements. UNICROSS ACTING VC EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER DAMAGE OF UNIVERSITY STUCTURES AFTER RAINSTORM IN CALABAR
