Gov. Ayade has brought unity to APC in C/River, says Publicity Secretary elect

 



The newly elected Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River, Mr Erasmus Ekpang, has commended Gov. Ben Ayade for uniting the party in the state ahead of the 2023 general elections.


Ekpang, while thanking the Governor, APC stakeholders and the people of Boki local government area for wide acceptance of his nomination, expressed satisfaction with the high turn out of APC Chieftains who witnessed the State Congress election.


According to him, the APC Chieftains that witnessed the delegate congress has further given the party the strength to retain power in the state come 2023.


He said that Gov. Ayade, through the congress, has shown that he was ready to work with all stakeholders with a view to move the party forward.


He expressed confidence over the emergence of Barr. Alphonsus Eba as the state APC Chairman, assuring that his strength, charisma and grassroot disposition will lead the party to victory in 2023.


APC chieftains that witnessed the delegate congress include the Minister of State for Power, Prince Jeddy Agba, former Senate Leader, Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba, former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pastor Usani Usani-Uguru and Sen. John Owan-Enoh.


Others are, the member representing Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency, Rep. Alex Egbona, member representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency, Rep. Mike Etaba, member representing Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency, Rep. Legor Idagbo, Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jones Williams and others. 


The Publicity Secretary elect expressed his readiness to work with the newly elected executive in the state with a view to bring back more members who have earlier defected from the party.
