CROSS RIVER STATE COMMANDANT OF PEACE CORPS HOSTS EXCOS TO A NEW YEAR GET TOGETHER.

It was mouth-watering and morale booster yesterday, 12/02/2022 as the Cross River State Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, Patriot (Dr.) Okweche Dominic Odey celebrated the year,  2022 with his Council members at the State Command Headquarters, Calabar.



The State Commandant thanked God for preserving the lives of Officers despite our shortcomings throughout the year 2021, while welcoming all members to the new year. He used the occasion to brief members on the state of things in the Corps especially as it concerns NPC Establishment Bill pending at the National Assembly as well as rolling out the calender of activities for the year.



 The Commandant treated members to sumptuous meals to begin the year while encouraging them to be at their best as there will be no more rooms for excuses.


The Officers after being sufficiently briefed of unfolding events and itinerary for the New year, were elated and poured  so much encomiums on the gesture and activeness of the State Commandant as well as  thanked the National Commandant, Amb. Prof. Dickson A.O. Akoh for his resilience and commitment to the course of changing the status of the Corps and pledged to remain dogged and supportive at all times.


The Commandant in his closing remarks mandated the executives to return with the vibes and continue to remain good ambassadors of the Corps.
