MATCHING WORDS WITH ACTION, CROSS RIVER STATE YOUTHS STORMS ENGR. BEN AKAK HOUSE, DONATE CAMPAIGN MATERIALS

On the 8th and 9th of February, 2022, at Ikom and Ogoja respectively, was where the youths issued threat to drag Engr. Ben Akak to court should he fail to immediately declare to contest the 2023 gubernatorial election in the state.

While many people thought it was a joke, the youths have decided to match their words with action on the 12th of February, 2022, by storming the residence of Engr. Ben Akak in Calabar, this time to pass another message. "We will mobilise and fund your campaigns if that is the fear".

The difference between Engr. Ben Akak and other people jostling to be governor of Cross River State in 2023 is that while others are paying thugs to sing their praises, coercing surbordinates to organize rally for them, it is the ordinary Cross Riverians on the streets that are championing the cause of Engr. Ben Akak.

The quest by the ordinary person in Cross River State to see Engr. Ben Akak as the next governor of the State in 2023 through the donation of their time and funds, can only be likened to the election that brought Barrack Hussein Obama in as the president of United States of America in 2008, where ordinary Americans donated their time and money to make sure Barrack Obama won that election.

The leadership of the ordinary Cross River State youths who stormed Engr. Ben Akak house donated Campaign caps and other materials and were received by the Personal Assistant, P.A, to Engr. Ben Akak, Mr. Okon Philip.
