Senator Florence Ita Giwa on behalf of Southern Leaders Forum Empowers Ward Chairmen in Akpabuyo with Tricycles



The Political leader of Bakassi Senator Florence Ita Giwa on Wednesday in her residence in Calabar distributed 10 sets of tricycles popularly known as Keke Napep to 10 Political Wards Chairmen of Akpabuyo who has stood firm by the Party and His Excellency Senator Prof Ben Ayade.


Distributing the tricycles at her official residence she noted that the gesture was in fulfillment of her promise to the beneficiaries who form the nucleus of Akpabuyo political support base.



She urged the beneficiaries to use the tricycles to support the activities of the All Progressive Congress (APC) especially the 26 February Bye Elections in Akpabuyo in their various wards and even as the 2023 election draws nearer.


The Senator in her magnanimity has been Supporting party structures across the state before now. This gesture brings excitement among party men who had come to witness the event. 


*According to her if the other depleted Political party gives Motorcycle, the APC will give Tricycles and if they replicate same the party will distribute Motor Vehicles*


One of the Ward Chairman from Atimbo East, Edem Edet, while commending the gesture, said It’s important to note that Senator Ita Giwa  in her bid to support and empower her constituents had earlier in the month distributed relief materials to across Akpabuyo and Bakassi.


On their part, the Chairman of Akpabuyo and Bakassi Hon Emmanuel Bassey and Hon Amboni Nakanda thanked Senator Florence Ita Giwa and Southern Leaders Forum for empowering the foot soldiers of the Ward while calling on them to reciprocate the gesture by going all out to ensure Hon Bassey Effiom is wins the February 26 Bye Elections.
