C’River needs ‘ideological minds’ like Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong to move forward — Senator Stephen Odey

The Executive Chairman of Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (CR-SUBEB), Senator Stephen Odey has averred that the State needs ‘ideological minds’ like Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong to move forward.

The CR-SUBEB boss made declaration when he received in audience  the Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong-led team, who paid him a consultative visit in his residence in Calabar.

Sen. Odey maintained that given the robust industrialization drive of the Governor Ben Ayade’s administration, Cross River is in dire strides of the Nsa Ekpenyongs of this world, who are in sync with the Governor’s vision, understand the economic calculuses and the rippling effects of industrialization.

“Let me thank you for being heedful of this administration’s achievements and your support for Governor Ayade over the years. I thank you for your car gift to our great party, the APC; it was indeed a step in the right direction.

“Be assured of my support as you continue with your collaboration to further the course for a greater and better Cross River State,” Sen. Odey concluded.

Earlier in his remarks, Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong said the essence of his visit was to afford him the opportunity to rub minds with the State’s stakeholders on mutually beneficial cooperation and the way forward on a better Cross River State.

Engr. Ekpenyong expressed satisfaction over the numerous industries sprouted across the by the Ayade-led administration, noting that industrialization is the sine qua non for catapulting Cross River from economic doldrums to an economically viable and prosperous State.

The oil and gas magnate, who argued that only a curmudgeon would object to the agro-industrialization vision of governor Ayade, quipped that it has become abundantly rife that Cross Riverians began to effectively propagate the industrialization strides of the present administration.

The businessman assured the good people of the State that with the high standards set by Governor Ayade, coupled with ongoing collaborative efforts, as well as succession plans, Cross Riverians should expect more from the government.
