Engr. Ben Akak formally Consults Prof. Ben Ayade, Chief of Staff to CRS of his Gubernatorial Ambition

The Chairman of Ben Akak Foundation, today at Government House, officially consulted Prof. Ben Ayade, the Digital Governor of Cross River on his gubernatorial ambition in the forthcoming election,  during a close door meeting today.

The Chairman also consulted the Chief of Staff to the Cross River State Government, Mr. Martin Orim, on his intention to contest as the next governor of the State.

The Chief of Staff assured Engr. Ben Akak of his unalloyed support for the betterment of Cross River State and her people and wished him success in the forthcoming election in the state.

In the same vein, during a press conference with the media, Engr. Ben Akak reiterated his commitment to serving Cross Riverians if given the opportunity to serve. He also assured Cross Riverians of effective leadership.

Engr Ben Akak further stressed on his uncompromising and undiluted love for Cross Riverians as one of the major reasons for contesting as the next governor of the state.

He also stated that Cross River State need a governor in 2023 who can create job opportunities and bring development to the state, pointing at the Ben Akak Foundation which has employed more than a thousand workers; an indication that he will employ more in the civil service commission, will create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and also empower ambitious entrepreneurs in their various field of endeavours if he is voted.

He refutted the claim by many that only experienced politicians will be able to spearhead the affairs of the state from 2023. According to him, "only their Excellencies Clement Ebri, Donald Duke, Liyel Imoke and Ben Ayade are experienced governors. The rest of the aspirants will only learn if they assume office as the governor of CRS. In other words, there's nothing like an experienced politician if one has not served on that platform as a governor."
