PENGASSAN Lagos Zonal Chairman bags TUC Appointment


 

The President, Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), Comrade Festus Osifo has approved the appointment of Comrade Eyam Abeng  as the Special Adviser on Special Duties & Media Relations with immediate effect.


Announcing the appointment at a Stakeholders meeting in Transcorp Hotel Abuja, the TUC President noted that the appointment was based on merit and in recognition of the meritorious support of Comrade Eyam who doubles as the Zonal Chairman, Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) Lagos Zone and National President, Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Alumni Association.


Comrade Osifo described Comrade Eyam as a diligent, dedicated, focused, intelligent and committed personality who is ever ready to give is best in the service of humanity.


Accepting the new appointment, Comrade Eyam Abeng appreciated the gesture of the TUC President and the uncommon confidence reposed on him, assuring him that he will deliver this mandate effectively, expectedly and with absolute loyalty. In his words: "I fully understand that the reward for hard work is more work, as such, I am willing and ready to keep doing my best to prove my competence and absolute loyalty to my President."


On his part, the Chief of Staff to the TUC President, Comrade Newton Ichipi appreciated the President for the choice of Comrade Abeng (aka End-to-End Visibility) who he said as overtime proven beyond doubts to be a very competent, trustworthy, Passionate, Committed and reliable fellow, describing him as a *'round peg in a round hole'.*


Also expressing his joy over the appointment, Comrade Abang Egbelo, Branch Chairman of Addax Petroleum also thanked the TUC  President for recognizing the selfless services of Comrade Eyam Abeng while expressing confidence in his ability and capacity to deliver expectedly on the new role.
