Asuquo Ekpenyong Accept Campaign Secretariat Donation in Calabar





APC Cross River South Senatorial Candidate, Asuquo Ekpenyong has accepted the Campaign Secretariat donated by Friends of Suki to serve as a central coordinating point for Calabar South LGA.


The Senatorial Candidate who visited the secretariat located at Calabar Road immediately he arrived Calabar assured the donors of utilizing the place for his Campaign activities.


The group which describes Asuquo Ekpenyong as highly qualified and competent for the job, pointed out that his vast experience in the private sector, as a successful businessman and an entrepreneur of repute stands him out and makes him the candidate to beat, adding that he will not only sustain the legacies of Cross River State South in the national and state space, but will also improved on them.


Asuquo Ekpenyong who described the gesture as unprecedented and thoughtful at a time he was searching for a place to house his Calabar South Campaign Office.


He called on party members in the Senatorial District to rise up and ensure that the party clinches all the seats during the election, from the Gubernatorial with Sen Prince Bassey Otu, the 3 House of Representatives Seats to the 9 State Assembly Seats in the district.


"I am very grateful for this gift today, We shall not relent, let's go to every household and sensitize.”


Chief Asuquo Asibong (SABATA) who spoke on behalf of the Friends of Suki group stated that the edifice was necessary for easy coordination of campaign activities and as such Friends of Suki  came together to renovate and furnish this Secretariat for 2023 electioneering activities in Calabar South LGA.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.  The visit centered on establishing a strategic partnership to protect and secure public utilities across the state from vandals and criminal elements. UNICROSS ACTING VC EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER DAMAGE OF UNIVERSITY STUCTURES AFTER RAINSTORM IN CALABAR
