OGOJA VICE CHAIRMAN BEGINS FIRST PHASE EMPOWERMENT WITH OVER 200 WOMEN

The Vice Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Area, Hon. Amu Sarah Abraham has distributed wrappers to Mbube women in the four political Wards as a way of showing appreciation for the supports she has enjoyed over time.



Speaking at the occasion which drew beneficiaries from the 13 villages of Mbube to St. Benedict's Primary School, Aragban, venue for the event, Hon. Sarah thanked the women for identifying with the APC and standing by her boss, Hon. Emmanuel Ishabor. She said the love shown them is not common and cannot be taken for granted.



 Hon. Sarah Continued that, this way is to celebrate new yam festival with the women. It is the first phase of the program and those who are not captured today, will surely be accommodated in other phases. Other parts of Ogoja are expected to benefit from the VC's gesture in the coming days. 


Hon. Sarah thanked the Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade, APC Governorship candidate, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, APC State Chairman, Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba and all stakeholders of the party for the choice of the Deputy Governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey. She explained that the entire Ogoja and Mbube in particular are grateful for blessing Mbube land with this sparkling choice. She told the women to mobilize support for the APC in the next election and expects massive developments in the dispensation.


The Vice Chairman told the women that, they form integral part of the society and their active participation in politics, can go a long way to determine the fate of who becomes what, when and how. She asked them to queue behind APC at all times.


The Secretary of Ogoja Local Government Council, Mrs. Florence Mbum stated that, the quality of wrappers presented to women is a testament to how the Vice Chairman love her people. She encouraged them to stand by her for more  better things are underway. She solicited for wider evangelism that would bring much people to the APC.


On his part, the former Vice Chairman of Ogoja and Mbube East Ward 1 political leader, Hon. Emmanuel Ejukwa said in the wake of economy crunch, the Vice Chairman in all assurances has done marvelously well to gather women of this magnitudes to be appreciated. It is only God that will bless and favour her with more greater opportunities that would benefit her people.


Hon. Emmanuel Aponi, the Supervisor for Health in Ogoja LGA who was at  the event described the Vice Chairman as a supersonic woman with a heart of gold. He said, the wrappers given are classical and durable and advised others who didn't received today to rejoice with others for their own celebration would not elude them. 


The Ogoja Chapter women leader of APC, Mrs. Margaret Abue commended the VC for her kind gesture towards women. She asked other women to continue to pray for her and that, the kindness is rare. She advised them to use  this opportunity to mobilize support for the party.


Mrs. Alice Anoh who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries,  appreciated the Vice Chairman for the love she has displayed. She said, from facial expressions, one need not to be told that the women are happy. The excitements was visible to all. May God bless and lift you higher, our dear Vice Chairman.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. UNICROSS ACTING VC EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER DAMAGE OF UNIVERSITY STUCTURES AFTER RAINSTORM IN CALABAR
