TCTI begins digital literacy training for Cross Riverians

The Teachers Continuous Training Institute, Biase, has commenced first batch training for 50 Cross Riverians on digital literacy.


The Director General of the Institute, Professor Taoheed Adedoja stated, that the training exercise is a fallout from the successful conduct of baseline assessment on digital literacy of 600 participants drawn from the primary, secondary, vocational and technical colleges, as well as public and private sectors in the State.


Welcoming participants, Friday, to the nine-day high-octane digital literacy training holding at the TCTI’s Ultramodern Digital Literacy Centre, the Director General congratulated trainees on being the first Nigerians to acquire such practical digital tutelage for global certification.


In his words: “The training programme, sponsored by the Cross River State Government, is the first of its kind by any public institution in Nigeria. It is designed by the Teachers Continuous Training Institute, Biase, to provide opportunities for participation in the digital space for global competitiveness and cross border employability.”


Prof. Adedoja, who urged trainees to put in their best in advancing their digital knowledge, informed that after the training, participants will sit for an examination for the award Global IC3 Digital Literacy Certificate.


Applauding the Governor Ben Ayade-led administration for birthing such a citadel of education in TCTI, Prof. Adedoja reiterated his Institute’s readiness to collaborate with relevant organizations in providing similar services at its Ultramodern Digital Literacy Centre.

BREAKING NEWS: Youths of Ikot Ansa Nab Vandals Destroying Public Utilities, Hand Over to Authorities for Prosecution

  In a combined effort to curb the rampant vandalism of public utilities in Cross River State, the youth leader of Ikot Ansa, Prince, Victor Otu Iso JR, alongside his community, successfully apprehended criminals involved in the destruction of vital public infrastructure. Engr. Egbe Commends Governor Otu for Flag-Off of Subsidized Mini Tractors Distribution

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr.
