APC Central Senatorial Candidate Assures electorates of democratic dividends if elected

The All Progressives Congress Senatorial Candidate for Central Senatorial District in Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams made the assurance at the ward to ward APC campaign rally in Abi/Yakurr yesterday.
The incoming Senator who was visibly elated with the crowd of party faithful that converged at the day one campaign venue in Idomi and Nko communities observed that, by the show of support, the entire people of Idomi, Nko had settled on the choice of APC and its candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Williams described politics as an interesting exercise when you follow who knows the road. He assured that as a party, they are ready to win from Presidential to House of Assembly, top to bottom.
The people’s senatorial candidate added that the Governor a few days ago lifted the ban on scholarships and all the students will benefit from it. He cautioned the people not to allow themselves to be deceived by the other parties but to stick with the government of the day to enjoy the full dividends of democracy. Also speaking, Rt. Hon. Alex Egbona, the Member representing Abi/Yakurr federal constituency who’s seeking a return listed the achievements of the APC in Yakurr and all the people that benefited from his empowerment and pledged to do more if elected for the second time. MP2 further hinted at his resolve to fix crumbling roads in Idomi and that he had trained someone in Idomi and also provided jobs. Other speakers at the campaign rally include the Director of the Campaign Hon. Chief Ubi Itam Ettah, Leader of Yakurr APC Prof. John Ofem Inyang, Prof. Godwin Igile, Yakurr I APC Candidate, Cyril Omini , Yakurr II APC Candidate Rev. Mercy Akpama, amongst others.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.  The visit centered on establishing a strategic partnership to protect and secure public utilities across the state from vandals and criminal elements.
