The presidential candidate for the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged to cure the Cross River State's headache if elected on the 25th of February 2023.
Addressing the mammoth crowd on Tuesday the 31st of January 2023 at Calabar Stadium in the company of his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima and his entourage, Tinubu apologizes for keeping his supporters waiting for so long.
He also used the opportunity to thank Sen. John Owan Enoh and Barr. Mary Ekpere for respecting him and withdrawing their lawsuits against the party, that what they have done, God will bless them and they will never regret the sacrifice they made.
He further emphasizes that he will make Cross River State a tourism wonder, adding that money will enter cross river state.
"Cross River State you will defeat your enemy and God will give you happiness".
Earlier the Governor of Cross River State said Tinubu you have won, you don't need to campaign in Cross River State.
Also in her speech the National Women Leader, Dr. Betta Edu noted that Asiwaju is so passionate about women and the women will come out in their numbers to vote for Asiwaju on the 25th of February 2023.
The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.
