The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Cross River State Chapter and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor Arc. Eric Akpo has concluded the tour in Cross River state's northern senatorial district yesterday.
Obudu and Obanliku noted that they are confident of winning the Saturday governorship for Sen. Prince Bassey Otu as more youths across party lines threw their weights behind Sen. Bassey Otu; said that the state would witness a greater level of development if he wins.
Addressing the youth, a member of the Cross River State House of Assembly Hon. Sunday Achunekan noted that the best person to secure the destiny of the youth in Cross River State is Sen. Bassey Otu.
"It is time for the youth to stand up for what they believe and support the back to south agenda for a better future ".
Speaking earlier Daniel Obo stated that he is optimistic that Prince Otu will win but the youths should vote massively for him.
Also in his contribution, Dr. Eric Akpo urges the youth not to make mistake by voting for the wrong person on Saturday.
Adding that Sen. Prince Otu means well to the youth and that after 16 years a northern youth will be qualified to contest and for now it is the turn of the south.
The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.
