My deep appreciation goes to the State Governor for piloting this project for the sake of equity, justice and a sense of inclusiveness by returning power back to the South after a 16 years wait. The man Prince Bassey Otu is no visitor to the people of Cross River State and a highly celebrated among his people especially those in the southern senatorial district who he served during his time in the National Assembly . Senator Bassey Otu in his own personal capacity facilitated the establishment of various health facilities within the southern senatorial district, supplied drugs and catered for the health needs of constituents. I'm assured that in his time as Governor, he will definitely be governor to all and will uphold the quality health programs initiated by his Excellency, Senator Ben Ayade in the last 8years. As for Asuquo Ekpenyong, I am assured of his capacity intellectually and his audacity to dare and make laws that will promote good governance for his people and all who come across him". It will be recalled that, Dr Janet Ekpenyong, one of the emerging political leaders in Eniong Abatim and the Odukpani extraction produced one of the most sensational results in favor of the All Progressive Congress in the last general elections winning all polling units under her supervision in landslide.
