𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐀𝐘: Vice Chairman Central organizes Football Fiesta, Award Night for Central Youths

On this occasion of International Youth Day, as the Vice Chairman Central NYCN-CRS, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to the incredible youth of our region, and indeed, the world. This day serves as a powerful reminder of the immense potential and transformative power that lies within each and every young person.

International Youth Day is an important global observance that highlights the issues faced by young people around the world and recognizes their potential to drive positive change in society. This year's theme, "𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵: 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱," emphasizes the critical role of youth in shaping a sustainable world.

Our youth possess immense potential, creativity, and passion, which are essential for addressing the complex challenges facing our society, especially in the realm of Quantification and monitoring (waste, energy, water), Management systems (waste, energy, water), Procurement and selection, Material use and impact quantification, Impact and use minimisation, Impact assessment, Risk management etc. The youth of today are not just the leaders of tomorrow; they are key partners in shaping our present and creating a sustainable future.

Within  Central senatorial district of Cross River State community, we have witnessed remarkable examples of youth-led initiatives and innovative solutions. From advocating for inclusive policies to promoting organic farming and fighting against food waste, our young leaders have demonstrated their commitment to creating a better and more equitable world.

However, we also recognize that our youth face numerous obstacles and barriers on their path to success. Limited access to quality education, unemployment, poverty, and lack of representation are just a few challenges that need urgent attention. As a collective, we must stand together to dismantle these barriers and create an enabling environment that empowers our young people to thrive.

On this day, let us reaffirm our commitment to nurturing and supporting our youth. Let us provide them with mentorship, resources, and opportunities to hone their skills, explore their passions, and become agents of positive change. By investing in our youth, we invest in the future of our communities, our nation, and the world at large.

As Vice Chairman Central NYCN-CRS, I pledge to work tirelessly to ensure that the voices of our youth are heard and that their needs and aspirations are prioritized. I encourage all members to actively engage with our youth, learn from their perspectives, and foster an inclusive environment that values their contributions.

Together, let us celebrate International Youth Day by recognizing the potential and power of our young generation. May their determination, passion, and innovation inspire us to create a more sustainable and equitable world for all.

Furthermore, the Vice Chairman promise to organize a Football Fiesta /Award night by December where youth of CRS Central would actively participate and showcase their talent.

Happy International Youth Day!

With Love From All Of Us @CENTRAL
