Media consultant commends Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong for being at home with his people

A media consultant in Cross River State, Dr. Anthony Ekpo Bassey, has  commended Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong for being at home with his people and for the projects he has attracted to Cross River South Senatorial District since he was elected a year ago.

According to Dr. Bassey, Asuquo Ekpenyong (Jr) has exceeded the expectations of his people and urged him to keep his best throughout his tenure in office. He went further to say that: "There is hardly any local government area within the Southern Senatorial District that has not felt the impact of the senator. He is everywhere and attending to the needs of his people. You can see the solar lights, transformers, tools of trade and many other things he has donated to many communities within his senatorial district to make life easy, convenient and comfortable for his people. If he can do so much in less than a year since he was elected into office, you can imagine how promising the future is for the people of the southern senatorial district."

Bassey, who holds a doctorate degree with specialization in Health Communication, said that he is aware that the senator offsets hospital bills for many people within his senatorial district. In appreciation for the senator's kind gestures, the erudite scholar said that it was the first time he has openly commended a politician and needed to do so, in order to encourage the senator to do more for his people and to shame other politicians who take their people for granted.

While commending the senator, he urged him to offer scholarship grants and empowerment schemes to more indigent children and youths from the senatorial district in order secure a bright and better future for them and in the long run, reduce the rate of insecurity in the area. "When our children and youths are busy with their lives, we will have less crimes in our society." Bassey added.
