Hit FM Vows Support for NYSC, Promises Enhanced Coverage

 


The management of Hit FM, Calabar, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in its nation-building efforts. This pledge was made by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Patrick Ugbe, during a courtesy visit by the NYSC Cross River State Coordinator, Mrs. Oyenuga Mojisola Joke.



Mr. Ugbe, who was a former Governing Board Chairman of the scheme in the state commended NYSC for its unwavering dedication to promoting national unity and integration through its programs. He highlighted the scheme's ability to bring together youths from diverse backgrounds, fostering a culture of understanding and cooperation.


"We recognize the vital role NYSC plays in shaping the future of Nigeria," Mr. Ugbe stated. "As a media outlet, we are committed to supporting your initiatives and amplifying your impact."


On her part, Mrs. Oyenuga expressed gratitude to Hit FM for its consistent support in covering NYSC events in the state. She emphasized the importance of sustaining this partnership, stressing that NYSC's brand required comprehensive coverage to ensure its sustainability across the country.


"The media plays a crucial role in showcasing our activities and achievements," Mrs. Oyenuga noted. "We appreciate Hit FM's commitment to telling our story and look forward to strengthened collaboration."


Highpoint was the presentation of NYSC publications to Hit FM, aimed at enhancing the station's understanding of the scheme's objectives and initiatives and a group photograph, symbolizing the solidarity and partnership between NYSC and Hit FM.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.  The visit centered on establishing a strategic partnership to protect and secure public utilities across the state from vandals and criminal elements.
