In preparation for the upcoming Local Government Elections, Senator Eteng Jonah Williams, Chairman of the Yakurr APC Campaign Organization, extended a warm welcome to all members and stakeholders. Senator Williams expressed gratitude to the party’s leader, His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Otu, commending his leadership in ensuring the successful selection of the party’s candidates. The APC's candidates for Yakurr Local Government include Yibala Inyang (Dombra) as Chairman, Pst. Keppy Obeten as Vice Chairman, and a strong lineup of 13 councilorship candidates committed to serving their wards.
