Yakurr APC Chairmanship Candidate Receives Flag, Vows to Elevate Yakurr Local Government




 The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for Yakurr Local Government Mr. Yibala Igiri Inyang, has pledged to serve with integrity and uplift Yakurr through dedicated governance. 


He made this commitment after receiving the APC party flag in front of a large crowd of supporters at Ikom Township Stadium, marking the official flag-off of the APC's Chairmanship campaigns in Cross River State.



The stadium was filled to capacity with an enthusiastic audience who enjoyed live performances by local artists, creating a festive atmosphere.


 In his speech, Inyang expressed that the APC flag symbolized a call to action to build a Yakurr that truly reflects the values, dreams, and aspirations of its people.


Inyang promised that, if elected, his administration would bring shared prosperity to Yakurr, alongside his Vice Chairman, Pst. Obeten Keppy. Together, they envision a future focused on effective governance and sustainable growth, underscoring a commitment to their community's core needs.


"This campaign is about more than winning an election; it’s about fulfilling the promise of a brighter tomorrow," Inyang affirmed.


Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba, State Party Chairman, presented the flag alongside Governor Prince Bassey Edet Otu, represented by Deputy Governor Rt. Hon. Peter Odey. They praised the candidates, calling on Cross Riverians to seize this moment for positive change.


“The past is behind us, and the future is in our hands,” said Deputy Governor Odey. 


“It’s time to join APC, the party of progress and renewal.”


In his congratulatory remarks, Senator Eteng Jonah Williams, representing the Central Senatorial District, extended his best wishes to all Central flag bearers, expressing confidence in their success at the November 2nd polls.


The rally culminated with the presentation of APC flags to Chairmanship candidates from the 18 local government areas of Cross River State, marking a significant step in the party's commitment to revitalizing the state.
