Yibala Inyang Champions Progress Across Yakurr Wards, Promising Infrastructure, Empowerment on Day 2 of Campaign

 



The APC Chairmanship candidate Yibala Igiri Inyang, alongside Vice Chairman candidate Pst. Obeten Keppy, today the 29th Day of October took to the council wards of Idomi, Ijiman, Ijom, Ikpakapit, Biko-Biko, Afrekpe/Epenti, Ntan, and Ajere respectively. 



Greeted by the hospitality and enthusiasm of each community, the campaign team witnessed firsthand the residents' eagerness for direct engagement and meaningful change for Yakurr’s future.



Each ward’s leadership expressed the pressing needs of their communities, focusing on infrastructure, security, youth engagement, and economic growth. 



In response, Inyang pledged to prioritize road networks and water access, foundational improvements necessary for Yakurr’s progress.


He further reassured residents of plans to enhance community policing, ensuring peace and fostering economic stability.


Youth engagement and employment also stood as central themes, with Yibala and Keppy announcing initiatives for vocational training programs and sports centers aimed at empowering the youth.


In agricultural wards, community leaders shared their aspirations for modernized farming, a vision Inyang echoed by outlining strategies to equip farmers with resources that would enhance productivity and distribution.


Accompanied by Chief John Ugbo, Hon. Dr. Abubaka,  Mr. Ibiang Ubi and others, Yibala and Keppy concluded their day with renewed purpose and commitment, strengthened by the community’s trust and collective desire for a brighter, more unified Yakurr.
