Cross River NYFA Celebrates Atiku Abubakar’s Birthday, Calls for 2027 Presidential Bid

 



As the political landscape heats up for the 2027 elections, the Cross River State chapter of Nigeria Youths for Atiku (NYFA) has urged Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to declare his intention to run for President. This call was made during a stakeholders meeting that also marked the celebration of Atiku’s birthday in the state.


Comrade Victor Bassey, the NYFA State Coordinator and spokesman, led the press briefing at the PDP conference hall, where he expressed strong support for Atiku and highlighted his 5-point agenda as a blueprint for national progress. Bassey, alongside other PDP leaders, praised Atiku for his leadership qualities, describing him as a visionary and dedicated advocate for youth development.


In a unanimous call for Atiku to contest the 2027 elections, stakeholders from various local government areas emphasized his unifying leadership, extensive political experience, and historic achievements. Hon. Bassey Eyo, representing ward coordinators across Cross River, and Chief Godwin, speaking on behalf of local government coordinators, both hailed Atiku’s national appeal and his capacity to bring transformative change to Nigeria.


Women leaders, represented by Hon. Ima Oko, also joined the call, emphasizing Atiku’s broad support base and the extensive political structures he has established across Nigeria’s 8,000 wards and 776 local governments.


The group concluded the meeting by announcing their commitment to the process, including the purchase of Atiku's 2027 Presidential nomination form, reaffirming their dedication to his candidacy.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. UNICROSS ACTING VC EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER DAMAGE OF UNIVERSITY STUCTURES AFTER RAINSTORM IN CALABAR
