CRS first Lady assures of Continues Support to NYSC Cross River

  


The wife of  the Executive Governor of Cross River State Bishop Mrs Eyoawan  Bassey Edet Otu has reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in its efforts to achieve its objectives in Cross River State. 


The first Lady  made this known when he received in audience the  State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs. Oyenuga Mojisola Joke in her office in Calabar.



In welcoming Mrs. Oyenuga to her new role, Bishop Mrs Eyoawan Bassey Edet emphasized the state government's dedication to strengthening its partnership with the NYSC to combat social vices, noting that the current administration is focused on the emancipation and empowerment of youth, regardless of their background.


The wife of the Governor encouraged the  State Coordinator to leverage her extensive experience with the NYSC to enhance the scheme's activities in Cross River State, aiming to elevate it to new heights.


Mrs. Oyenuga, in her remarks, explained that the purpose of her visit was to officially familiarize herself and to further solidify the relationship between the her office and the NYSC.


Oyenuga, while appreciating the the wife of governor for the warm reception accorded her and her team, acknowledged the state's ongoing support for the NYSC over the years and appealed for continued collaboration and improved welfare for the scheme and its corps members. 


She assured the first Lady  of the NYSC's commitment to contributing to the success of the current administration in Cross River State.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.  The visit centered on establishing a strategic partnership to protect and secure public utilities across the state from vandals and criminal elements. UNICROSS ACTING VC EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER DAMAGE OF UNIVERSITY STUCTURES AFTER RAINSTORM IN CALABAR
