Senator Eteng Williams Congratulates New UNICROSS Pro-Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor, Commends Gov. Otu



Senator Eteng Williams, representing Cross  River Central Senatorial District has extended hearty congratulations to Barr.
Fidelis Ugbo and Prof. Franca Bassey on their recent appointments as Pro-Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), respectively.
Describing the appointments as a critical step in advancing education in Cross River State, Senator Williams lauded Governor Bassey Otu for making thoughtful and commendable choices. He noted that both appointees are reputable professionals with proven track records of excellence, integrity, and commitment to service. According to him, their emergence reflects the governor’s resolve to reposition UNICROSS as a hub of innovation and academic distinction in the state and beyond.

Barr. Fidelis Ugbo, a seasoned legal practitioner and administrator, brings a wealth of experience to his new role as Pro-Chancellor.
