NDDC Commends Gov. Bassey Otu on Two Years of Transformative Leadership in Cross River

 

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Senator (Apostle) Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, as he marks two years in office.

In a goodwill message signed by Rt. Hon. Orok Otu Duke, Ph.D, the NDDC Commissioner and State Representative for Cross River, the Commission described Governor Otu’s administration as one defined by vision, truth, and purposeful leadership.

According to the message, the past twenty-four months have showcased the Governor's unwavering commitment to service, resulting in a renaissance in infrastructure and human capital development across the state.

“Under your stewardship, Cross River State has witnessed a renaissance both in infrastructure and human capital development. The people have not only felt the pulse of purposeful governance but have also begun to walk tall once more, emboldened by a renewed sense of dignity and hope,” the statement read.

Rt. Hon. Duke further lauded Governor Otu for exemplifying truth and excellence in governance, noting that his tenure has ushered in a new era of vitality and relevance for the state.

“As a strategic interventionist and developmental agency, the NDDC reaffirms its commitment to work in alignment with your administration’s noble aspirations. We stand ready to support your agenda for inclusive growth and sustainable development, ensuring that no community, no matter how remote, is left behind,” he added.

The message concluded by acknowledging the widespread public admiration for the Governor’s leadership, describing the growing calls for continuity as a testament to his competence, trustworthiness, and people-centered governance.

“Congratulations once again, Your Excellency. May Providence continue to endow you with wisdom and fortitude, as you lead our state into an even greater glory,” the NDDC stated.
