Asset Recovery Adviser, Agbor, Extols Akpabuyo Chairman, Hon. Effiong, On His Birthday

…Describes the Akpabuyo Chairman as a rare blend of youthful charisma, purposeful leadership, and unwavering loyalty

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Asset Management and Recovery, Barr. Gilbert Agbor, has showered heartfelt birthday wishes on the Chairman of Akpabuyo Local Government Area, Hon. (Prince) Effiom Bassey Effiong, describing him as “one of the most promising young leaders of our time, a man whose charisma and character continue to leave footprints across the corridors of leadership and friendship.”

In a glowing tribute released on Sunday, Barr. Agbor extolled the Akpabuyo Council boss, whom he described as “a beacon of youthful excellence, a symbol of sincere brotherhood, and a leader whose rising star is only beginning to shine in its full brilliance.”

“Prince Effiong is not just a public office holder; he is a force of nature — vibrant, charismatic, deeply rooted in his people, and committed to purpose. Since our paths crossed, he has redefined the meaning of true friendship and good neighborliness. He is the kind of leader who doesn’t just lead from the front but walks beside you as a brother,” Agbor stated.

The Governor’s aide noted that the Chairman’s leadership in Akpabuyo has reflected a rare mix of youthful energy and seasoned judgment, earning him admiration from across political divides and traditional institutions.

“In a time where integrity and impact are often in short supply, Prince Effiong stands out. His leadership is people-centered, his vision clear, and his sense of duty unshakable. He is a proof that when young people are given the opportunity, they can lead with distinction.”

Barr. Agbor, however, reminded the Chairman that despite his commendable achievements so far, the journey ahead remains even more promising.

“You are great, no doubt, but hear me clearly, my brother, you are nowhere near where God is taking you. Your current level is only a dress rehearsal for the greatness ahead. Remain steadfast, stay grounded, and never lose the fire that brought you this far.”

Wishing him a joyful new chapter, Barr. Agbor prayed for continued strength, wisdom, and uncommon favor for the Chairman as he enters another year of life and service.

“May this new age bring you greater clarity of purpose, deeper joy, and divine acceleration. May every step you take be ordered, and every season ahead be better than the last. The best of your story is still unwritten, and I am confident it will be glorious.”
