Communities Hail Senator Williams for Installing Solar-Powered Streetlights, Boosting Security

 




…Residents applaud visible dividends of democracy, pledge continued support

Communities across the Central Senatorial District have continued to pour encomiums on Senator Eteng Jonah Williams following the installation of solar-powered streetlights aimed at enhancing security and improving infrastructure at the grassroots.

The commendation comes on the heels of a viral video by an indigene of Lebang Community, Mr. Enang Ofem Ibor, which was made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Calabar. In the video, he lauded the Senator for what he described as a timely and impactful intervention that directly addresses the needs of the people.

Speaking with excitement, Ibor expressed  appreciation for Senator Williams’ commitment to community safety, noting that the newly installed solar lights have significantly reduced criminal activities that once thrived under the cover of darkness.

“This is what true representation looks like,” he stated, adding that the project has not only illuminated the community but also restored a sense of security and confidence among residents.

In a similar development, residents of Agoi communities also extended their heartfelt gratitude to the Senator for lighting up their communities, describing the initiative as both noble and transformative.

They emphasised that Senator Williams’ responsiveness to the yearnings of his constituents sets him apart as a leader who prioritises the welfare of the people, adding that such people-oriented projects are clear indicators of purposeful leadership.

The communities, in unison, offered prayers for the continued success and strength of Senator Williams, while reaffirming their  support for his political journey. 

They further urged him to sustain and expand his developmental strides across the Central Senatorial District, noting that his efforts are already leaving lasting footprints in the lives of the people.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr.
