Chief Duke, in a statement made available to journalists, described the scholarship scheme as a strategic investment in human capital development aimed at empowering young people from the Niger Delta region with global exposure and competitive skills.

Chief Duke further assured applicants of his commitment to ensuring that Cross River State secures its fair share of slots in the programme, urging transparency, merit, and strict adherence to the application guidelines.

He also emphasized the importance of proper documentation, including admission letters from recognized foreign universities, NYSC certificates, and local government identification, as key requirements for successful application.

The NDDC Foreign Post-Graduate Scholarship Programme is part of the Commission’s broader mandate to build capacity and equip youths in the Niger Delta with the expertise needed to drive development and innovation in the region.
