Commissioner Inspects Boki East West Road

The Cross River State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Honourable Pius Edet Ankpo conducts an inspection of the Boki East-West Road.

The administration of His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, remains committed to fostering infrastructural development in Cross River State, with the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure intensifying quality assurance efforts on the 17-kilometer Boki East-West Road project.

The objective of conducting an on-site inspection is to review work progress and ensure compliance to the ministry’s approved standards and specifications.

While speaking to newsmen During the inspection, Hon. Ankpo Pius Edet reinforced the dedication to providing high-quality, enduring infrastructure statewide, under Sen. Bassey Edet Otu's administration.

He assured the residents that the government will uphold its quality standards as it continues to deliver democratic dividends to the people of the state.

The inspection, which took place on July 5, 2026, was conducted under the leadership of Commissioner Ankpo Pius Edet FNSE, with Engr. Dr. Paul Bapeh, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, and a team of engineers and technical personnel in attendance.
