FAHCWB Distributes School Materials To Pupils in Cross River

The Feed a Hungry Child with Briana Foundation (FAHCWB) paid a follow-up visit to Bebuabong Community Primary School in Obudu, Cross River State, on July 2nd, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to the community’s children.

More than 100 pupils received notebooks, reasoning textbooks, and socks during the outreach. Beyond the material support, foundation members spent time with the pupils discussing three core values; ambition, confidence, and kindness, that the organization hopes will stay with them throughout their lives.

The team also met with the school’s management to assess progress made since their last visit and to plan ways to expand their impact in the community moving forward.

Speaking in a statement issued after the outreach, Barr. Briana Akpagu, founder of FAHCWB, described the visit as part of a larger commitment rather than an isolated effort.

She said that,  “For us, this isn’t a one-time gesture. It’s a relationship we’re building, one visit at a time. FAHCWB remains dedicated to alleviating the effects of food insecurity, poverty, climate change, and social injustice on women and children and we’re only getting started.”

Akpagu also emphasized the importance of sustained partnership in addressing child welfare, stating, “Every child deserves the chance to learn without hunger holding them back, and every community deserves partners who stay committed beyond a single day.”

She invited members of the public interested in supporting children’s education and wellbeing to reach out and get involved in its ongoing work.
