The Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, on Saturday inspected the newly constructed Stadium Road in Ogoja Local Government Area as part of the state government's commitment to ensuring quality infrastructure delivery.
Odey, who was accompanied by the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Dr. Pius Ankpo Edet, assessed the completed road project aimed at improving connectivity and boosting socio-economic activities in the area.
The inspection, according to government officials, forms part of the administration's routine monitoring of ongoing and completed infrastructure projects across the state to ensure they meet the expected standards and deliver value to residents.
The exercise attracted political leaders, government officials, community stakeholders and other dignitaries from different parts of the state, who commended the administration for its sustained investment in road infrastructure and other critical development projects.
The state government has reiterated its commitment to expanding infrastructure development as a key driver of economic growth and improved living standards for the people of Cross River State.
