​UNICROSS Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening, Introduces 19 New Programmes




​The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has officially announced the commencement of its First Choice Admission Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. The university has also unveiled 19 newly approved undergraduate academic programmes across its campuses.

​According to an official notice signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs) Catherine Ndifon Osai, eligible candidates include UTME applicants who chose UNICROSS as their First Choice and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME. Candidates who did not initially choose the university as their first choice can also apply by changing their institution to UNICROSS via the JAMB portal.

Registration Details & Application Procedure

​The screening registration fee is ₦2,000.00, payable online via Master, Visa, or Verve debit cards or at commercial banks through the institution’s portal.

​Step-by-Step Application Process:

​Visit the Portal: Go to admissions.unicross.edu.ng.

​Enter JAMB Registration Number: Input your JAMB registration number under the "New Candidate" section and click Proceed to Purchase E-Pin.

​Verify Information: Update your email address and phone number.

​Make Payment: Pay via card, bank transfer, or USSD on the secure payment page.

​Save E-PIN: Keep your generated E-PIN safe, as it will be required for subsequent logins.

​Complete Application: Return to the home page, select "Already Have an E-PIN?", log in, upload all required documents, and complete the form.

​Submit: Submit the application and print the acknowledgment slip.

​Key Requirements & Guidelines

​No Physical Appearance Needed: Candidates are not required to travel to Calabar or any campus for a physical screening.

​Document Uploads: Applicants must properly scan and upload their O'Level result(s), JAMB result slip, and a recent passport photograph.

​File Size: All scanned document files must be at least 50 KB in size.

BREAKING NEWS: Youths of Ikot Ansa Nab Vandals Destroying Public Utilities, Hand Over to Authorities for Prosecution

  In a combined effort to curb the rampant vandalism of public utilities in Cross River State, the youth leader of Ikot Ansa, Prince, Victor Otu Iso JR, alongside his community, successfully apprehended criminals involved in the destruction of vital public infrastructure.   The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr.
