Reps Member, Eta Mbora Trains Constituents on Entrepreneurial Skills

  



The Honorable Member Representing Calabar Municipal/Odukpani Federal Constituency, Rt Hon. Eta Mbora has sponsored a 3 day certification entrepreneurship training and empowerment program for his constituents. 


Speaking at the closing ceremony and presentation of certificates, the federal lawmaker stated that the training is geared towards better equipping his people for business and preparing them to access the various federal government business finance supports, including the AGSMIS grant of up to N10 million Naira. 



He pledged not to only facilitate access for his constituents to partake in this scheme but to continue to identify other credible business supports for his people especially during this very difficult times.


Some political leaders of Odukpani and Calabar Municipal who also participated in the training, expressed their delight and appreciation to the Honorable member on such a laudable initiative and urged him to continue to do more for the good of the society.



Also speaking to newsmen at the event, the coordinator of the training, Mr. Bassey Archibong, said the training was part of the Agri-Business Small and Medium Enterprises Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS).


“We have partnered with EDC to train and certify our constituents to enhance their businesses and acquire other business initiatives so as to qualify and ease their access to the loans,” he said.

Engr. Egbe Commends Governor Otu for Flag-Off of Subsidized Mini Tractors Distribution

​UNICROSS Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening, Introduces 19 New Programmes

​The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has officially announced the commencement of its First Choice Admission Screening Exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session . The university has also unveiled 19 newly approved undergraduate academic programmes across its campuses. ​According to an official notice signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs) Catherine Ndifon Osai, eligible candidates include UTME applicants who chose UNICROSS as their First Choice and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME.
