SA security,Yakurr gives reasons behind the massive defection from PDP to APC in Yakurr LGA

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Security,Yakurr LGA,Mr Cyril Omini has attributed the massive defection from PDP to the APC in Yakurr LGA in appreciation to the Governor for the freedom he has given them from the hands Rt Hon Bassey Eko Ewa.

According to the Governor's aide, until the coming of Ben Ayade, who gets what, when and how was a singular decision of one man, noting that they cannot continue to stay in the same party with a man who does not want another man's progress.

Mr Omini who said this in an interview shortly after his official defection in his Ijom council ward described Rt Hon Hon Ewa as one of the worse thing to happen in Yakurr as his over 20years as a State and Federal legislator have had zero impact on the life of an average Yakurr man.

He said the erstwhile Federal legislator reign in Yakurr politics witnessed political thuggery, maiming and poverty with a history of abandoning people who stakes their neck for him in every election.

"Should i begin to mention people who have done all manner of shit for that man yet left them unrewarded? My brother,Governor Ayade is the one that has given us freedom from Bassey and it is him we will follow. Who no want freedom"?

On the derogatory comments prominent members of the opposition have continued to make concerning the Governor's food on the table policy, he said he is a proud beneficiary of the Governor's policy and he is not ashame of it.

The SA security said, he is the man he currently is because of food on the table.

"By God's grace,i live in my house in a choice location in Calabar,i drive my own car(s) or should i tell you the number of people who are currently earning a living through me? How do you think i do it if not 'Food on the table"? Governor Ben Ayade deserves commendation and not condemnation. How many of them can comfortably sustain 150k salary to their supporters for 4 months"?

He reinterated his support, loyalty and commitment to Governor Ben Ayade,a man he said God is using to make nobody's somebody.
