Williams Receives Most Outstanding Speaker 2021 Award




Freda Akpabio Humanitarian Foundation( FAHUF) today the 15th of July 2021 presented the Most Outstanding Speaker 2021 award to the Speaker of Cross River State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Eteng Jonah Williams.


The President of the foundation Miss Freda Akpabio said that the award was in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contribution to the well-being of youths through human empowerment, philanthropic gesture, and protecting the vulnerable in cross river state

 and Nigeria in general.



Akpabio added that the Speaker is not only the most experienced house member but also the most diplomatic, making the state a better place for all to live and also in partnership with the commissioner of police to ensure the safety of life and property.


" This award is only to spur you to do more to humanity while appreciating your outstanding contributions to the growth of Cross River State House of Assembly". Akpabio 


Akpabio went ahead to highlight the activities of the foundation ranging from skills acquisition programs targeted at the girl child, awards of scholarship to students, free medical outreach for the aged, and provisions of food items to orphanages and inmates at the correctional facilities in Calabar and Akwa Ibom respectively.


Williams in his response said he is touched by this award and urged the foundation to continue to touch lives especially the vulnerable in society and girl children.
