Alumni President Extols Rt. Hon. Legor on 50th Birthday, Call on Support for CRUTECH




The National President of Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) Alumni Association, Comrade Eyam Abeng has felicitated with Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo, Member of  the House of Representatives representing Bekwarra/ Obanliku / Obudu Federal Constituency, on the attainment of 50 years of age (Golden Jubilee), describing him as an inspiring and pragmatic leader.

Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria

 (PENGASSAN) Lagos Zone thanked God for the life of the Legislator, noting that the attainment of a Golden Jubilee was not an easy one, as it takes only the hand and sufficient grace of God to get there.


In his words: "Indeed a life worth living is worth celebrating. I join your family, friends, supporters and well-wishers to thank God Almighty for the gift of life upon you as you attain a golden age of 50 today. This further prove the love, mercy and grace of God upon your life."  


Hon. Legor who has served in different capacities was equally applauded for being a rare gem, man of integrity, and an inspiration as well as mentor to many youths in Cross Riverians and beyond.


He further eulogised the member House of Representatives member as "a very focused, patriotic, pragmatic purposeful, resourceful and philanthropic leader who God has blessed the state with". Noting that he Rt. Hon. Legor has often times demonstrated enormous capacity, sportsmanship, commitments and love for his people in several occasions.


The release also appreciated the legislative excellence of Hon. Idagbo and massive empowerments as well as constituency projects he was able to attract to his people, especially the teaming youths who are exposed to skills acquisition programmes and support to better their lives. 


He further seize the opportunity to solicit the support of the Legislator to CRUTECH (now UNICROSS) as the institution is presently undergoing the process of transiting into a full conventional university, as such a lot of infrastructural, facilities and intellectual developments are needed to float some of the upcoming departments and faculties like Medicine, Law, etc in the university.

Engr. Jerome Egbe Visits NSCDC Command for Strategic Partnership on Public Utilities

  The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.  The visit centered on establishing a strategic partnership to protect and secure public utilities across the state from vandals and criminal elements. UNICROSS ACTING VC EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER DAMAGE OF UNIVERSITY STUCTURES AFTER RAINSTORM IN CALABAR
