DR BETTA EDU HONOURED WITH THE OUTSTANDING PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR AWARD

 



Cross River State Commissioner for Health, Dr Betta Edu has been honoured with the prestigious award of "The Outstanding Personality of the Year".


Dr Betta, who has been rated as a top performing commissioner in the Cross River State Governor Ben Ayade-led administration was honoured with the award in recognition of her sterling performance in the health sector and laudable contributions toward youth empowerment and development across the South South sub-region.


The award was presented to the young, dynamic and delectable Dr Betta Edu by Rest Logic Nigeria Project Ambassadors Initiative organisers of the two days 2021 South South Emerging Leaders Conference held at the Conference Centre of the prestigious University of Calabar, Calabar Cross River State at the weekend.


In her remarks, Dr Betta who appreciated the organisers of the event for the honour on her personality dedicated the award to His Excellency, the Cross River State Governor, Sen Prof Sir Ben Ayade, who believed in her as a youth and gave her the platform to make her own contributions and the youths of Cross River State.


She charged the youths to discover their potentials, believe in themselves, study to excel in their academics and above all trust God for their breakthroughs and successes in life.


The award winning commissioner also officially launched a newly built App that will provide over one million youths the opportunity to showcase their services. The app is known as "SEE US' which will be available for download on the Google Play store. She noted in her remarks that in no distance time the entire globe will see us through our great innovative works.


The executive director of Rest Logic Nigeria Project Ambassadors Initiative, Prophet Jeremiah Agala thanked the commissioner and the government of Cross River State for the peacefully and successful hosting of this year's conference.
