Ben Akak donates Cash Gift, food items to Motherless Baby Homes, People with Disabilities in Calabar

 The Chairman, Engr. Ben Akak Foundation has donated cash and food items to some Motherless Baby Homes and people with disabilities in Calabar. 


In his statement, the chairman said that, "We are here to celebrate with you because we love you so much. I want to announce to you that in the next few days, a check of 500 hundred thousand naira will be issued to ensure that all the education of these children are well taken care of. You're our priority and we make sure you're given adequate education as future leaders. You're important to the society."


He further assured them that they will become great people tomorrow. In his words, "We are interested in training people that do not have people in the society. You're going to be part of our scholarship team to further your education to higher institutions. We will also support the management of the organisation medically."


He clearly pointed out that the Ben Akak Foundation is with the disabled people always and there's no how the foundation can forget about them in their activities.


Ben Akak also assured the less privilege and disabled people of empowering them through skill acquisitions in various areas of their interest.


Reiterating the importance of this visit, Engr. Ben Akak again, stressed that the essence of the event is to celebrate with the less privilege and people with disabilities.


 He also said that " Its part of our program. We make sure we celebrate with them in this time and beyond.  The Ben Akak foundation is mainly to sacrifice. We make sure these people are self reliance and be useful to themselves and the society."


Also speaking after the event, Mr. Leonard Agbor, a friend to the foundation said that "the Ben Akak foundation is awesome. The foundation is doing what the government encourages other prominent citizens to do, which is-assisting the less privileges and people with disabilities."


In their votes of thanks, the three managers of the Motherless Baby Homes and the leader of the People with disabilities, Effiong Effanga Okon and Ekanem Archibong,

thanked Engr. Ben Akak and his foundation, for always remembering them in their activities and benevolence; buttressing that the foundation has always been doing this and it has become part of their routine.


 Among the Motherless Baby Homes the organization visited were Motherless Baby Home, Uwanse, Infant Jesus Orphanage Home, Bateba and Good Samaritan Home (For the Poor and the Needy), Target Road, Calabar.


Highlights of the events were prayer sessions from kids in the Motherless Baby Homes, and from the people with disabilities; cash and food items donations and photographs.
