Dr Ekpenyong Eulogize Cross River State First Lady, Describes her as "Mother of Many Nations"

 



The Director General of the Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Janet Ekpenyong has felicitated with the First lady of Cross River State, Dr Linda Ayade on the anniversary of her birth, describing her as a "Mother of Many Nation".


Dr Ekpenyong who made this known in a message she signed on Tuesday, December 21st 2021 ,  likened the State's first lady to a "tree planted by the river side" which shade it's leaves to cover everyone, said, the first lady has succeeded in uplifting the lives of Cross River women through her social and economic emancipation scheme , "Cross River Women Emancipation Initiative"(CROWEI) and the Mediatrix Development Foundation, especially victims of gender based violence.


She prayed God to continually shower His blessings on her in order to reach out to more Cross Riverians and Nigerians all the days of her life.


"Today, we celebrate a mother in Zion, a champion in the health sector ,the mother of our state and the voice that rises on behalf of every woman in our dear state, Her Excellency, Dr Linda Ayade, the amiable first lady of Cross River State.


We are blessed to have a mother and leader like you, as you have broadened your shoulder for all to lean on, the cover you provide for our women and our children is likened to the biblical parable of a tree which is planted by the river side,  that flourishes in all season, I am blessed to be shaded by you. You have given wings to alot of women to fly, you are the air beneath our wings, encouraging and inspiring us to greatness.


Through your guidance and leadership, we have achieved a remarkable feet in reaching out to thousands of children , mothers and the aged,  this is an expression of not just passion and love, but a conscious and delibrate attempt to offer uncompromising healthcare to those in dire need of it .


I wish you a very special birthday , many beautiful years ahead in health of body and mind, prosperity and gladness of heart.
