Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong’s authenticity, consolidation strategy are endearing — Hon. Bobby Ekpenyong

The former Director General of Cross River State Waterways Agency and frontline aspirant for the Calabar Municipal/Odukpani Federal Constituency seat, Hon. Bobby Ekpenyong has stated that Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong’s authenticity, sincere intentions and strategy of consolidating on the industrialization blueprint of the Governor Ben Ayade-led administration have endearingly put the governorship hopeful ahead on who takes over the Peregrino House in 2023.

The former CRSWA DG made the assertion while speaking to journalists at the Nsa Ekpenyong Campaign Office, recently in Calabar.

Hon. Bobby said listening to the Engr. Ekpenyong during a meeting, quickly gave him the conviction that he is going to make a good leader when given the opportunity.

“I have been in mainstream politics for over three decades, I understand the political dynamics of the State. Engr. Nsa Ekpenyong, has come to the fore with reputation for success, having made a fortune in maritime, oil and gas businesses, I am quite sure that he will match words with action and take our dear State to the next level,” he espoused.

The one time Calabar Local Government Chairman, who queried the unwholesome practice and history of abandoning preceding administration’s projects by successive governments, averred that Engr. Ekpenyong is the first person to adopt the Ayade-led administration’s agro-industrialization policy, adding that such ideological inclinations stand the governorship aspirant in good stead to be considered by all right-thinking Cross Riverians and residents of the State.

Hon. Bobby used the opportunity to call on the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders (under whose party Engr. Ekpenyong is vying for governor), and indeed the good people of the State to pitch tent with someone he described as “an ambitious young man with a remarkably detailed blueprint for taking the State to its eldorado.”

Hon. Bobby Ekpenyong, who just resigned his position as the Director General of the Cross River State Waterways Agency to vie for the Odukpani/Calabar Municipality legislative seat, is a household name in Cross River political firmament.

He has held several high ranking positions in the State, notably, Director General, Cross River State Waterways Agency; Chairman Calabar local government area;

State secretary All Nigeria Ppeople's Party;

Commissioner sports commission Cross River state; Special Adviser to the governor on industrialization;

Managing Director Summit hills estate development service and Calabar international convention centre.
