APC YAKURR 1 CONSTITUENCY RACE; A VICTORY FOR ALL

First, gratitude to God Almighty for victory and the successful conduct of the primary election and the safety of all our members, including officials of all agencies, (the supervision team of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, all Security Agencies and the Media) who took part in the process.

The victory is not for Cyril Omini alone. It is a victory for the rule of law, for democracy, and for the party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). It's a victory for everyone who played a part in making it possible; to the members of the party who nominated Cyril, the delegates, all constituents, the leadership of the party in Yakurr and that of the State Exco of the APC under the chairmanship of Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba, we say thank you.

Nonpareil gratitude to my own ebullient, amiable, Industrious, Illustrious and Most Digital Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator, Prof. Ben Ayade, for his passion and drive towards youth inclusiveness in governance and the level playing ground he allowed during the primary election process.

I am very grateful to other aspirants who intentionally avoided the politics of bitter opposition and displayed the level of maturity and sportsmanship never before seen in the history our dear Constituency.

The nomination to represent our party in the State House of Assembly election is one of the greatest honors. I find myself happy but as well aware of the faith reposed in me by you all. Importantly, I feel the weight of that responsibility and the need not to disappoint all of you who deemed me worthy of the honor to fly the flag of our great party and be your representative at the 2023 general polls.

This time, we will get it right. And the work to make this a reality must continue with reanimated passion and zeal. Our victory at the primary election is only the beginning. We must now all come together, renew our loyalty to the party, and march with fortified strides on this new path that beckons.

Dearest party members, thank you once again for your confidence in me and support. I assure you, and the people of our Constituency, that you will not be disappointed.

Thank You and May God bless you all.

Cyril James Omini

APC, Yakurr 1 State Constituency Candidate 2023.
