2023: Tinubu Totally Committed To Agricultural Development. APC National Women Leader Dr Betta Edu Reassures Women Farmers

All Progressives Congress National Women Leader,Dr Betta Edu has reassured Nigerian Women Farmers  That the APC Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the only Candidate with the midas touch to  revitalize the Agro-Community by undertaking  reforms within the farming, fishing and livestock sectors that will make the industry  highly competitive, attractive for investors, and more productive for all both in local and international market. Furthermore, Jagaban Tinubu said “Bank of Agriculture will be reviewed and restructured to cater for small farmers, women will be empowered and Nigeria will Prosper!”

As someone who understands the roles , Agriculture played in the country’s economy before the discovery of oil, he will ensure that Nigeria fully harnesses its agricultural potential,  exports will rise to the level such that Nigeria will  feed much of sub-Saharan Africa, allowing for a  better economy while fostering social tranquility, stronger consumer bases and political goodwill between Nigeria  and other nations in the region and on the continent."

In a statement released to the media by her Special Adviser, Political Matters, Seun Bosede Osamaye,  after the well attended Town Hall Meeting with Stakeholders in the Agro-allied Sector in Minna, Niger State on Monday, Dr Edu  gave a charge to all Nigerian Women Farmers to be more committed to their farming as this will soon pay off.  In her words, the Asiwaju I know is a man of his words, he has said when he becomes President in 2023, he will make the Agricultural Sector the bedrock of Nigeria's New Economy using Agro-industrialization as gateway. I have no doubt this is what he will do and the Nigerian women farmers who are critical stakeholders will also be part of the beneficiaries.

. She  further noted that the rare  endorsements from the crop and livestock farmers and fishing communities which comprises All Farmers Association of Nigeria, Maize Association of Nigeria, Miyetti Allah Keutal Hore, Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria and Federation of Agricultural Commodity Association of Nigeria of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed and Sen Kashim Shettima is the symbol of trust reposed on them to ensure agriculture takes its place of Pride.

Leaders at the Minna event were  the APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party's Vice Presidential Candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima, DG of the  APC Presidential Campaign Council, Gov. Simon Lalong, host Governor  of Niger, Abdullahi Sani-Bello, Jigawa State Governor Abubakar Badaru, Chairman of Progressive Governors Forum, Sen Bagudu, Niger State APC Governorship candidate, Hon.
