Women the Deal is 40 million votes for Asiwaju Tinubu and Sen. Shettima-Dr Betta Edu


For what one can describe as a massive or overwhelming number of Deltans gathered at the Warri stadium to Receive and endorse the APC Presidential Candidate Sen Tinubu and his running mate Sen Kasim Shettima as well as their son Sen Omo-Agege who has performed well for them at the senate as a Deputy Senate President who attracted many federal government interventions to Delta state.


Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is legendary for the transformation in Lagos has vowed to transform Delta by working with Governor Omo Agege when voted into power. He said he will revive the ports and give them the true dividends of being an oil-producing state. In the same vein his wife Sen. Dr. Oluremi Tinubu who is a daughter of the soil has told Deltans that as a wife of a president by the grace of God when voted in, she will be their voice to attract speedy development to Delta state. She called on them to support their Inlaw to make a difference in Nigeria and Delta.


The APC National Women Leader who spoke at the event told Nigerian women particularly those from Delta that the only man who can position women mainstream us and give us many seats at the table is Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, he will do more than the 35% affirmative action we seek. She further noted that the Deal for Nigerian women is 40 million votes and women should go all out door to door working with our mothers H.E Aisha Buhari, Sen Remi Tinubu, and Mrs. Nana Shettima to achieve this result. “ we can do it and we will do it no going back”


The Gubernatorial Candidate and his Deputy were handed over the flag by the APC party Chairman Sen Abdulahi Adamu who was represented by the Deputy National Chairman South. he promised to end the poor governance while giving Deltans value for their allocation. He further stated that delta state is owing over 200 billion and doesn’t have much to show for the monthly Federal allocation and funds received by Gov Okowa. “Deltans deserve much more. Together we will make this work, come out In millions, and vote for APC”


Other dignitaries who attended and spoke at the event includes the Senate President Sen Lawan who presented the scorecard of his Deputy, H.E Comrade Adams Oshomole, DG campaign Gov Lan Long, Governor Hope Uzodinma, Sen Godwill Akpabuyo, Rt Hon Bankole, Hon Minister Festus Keyamo and Hon Minister Sunday Daire among others
