The Director General of the Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency Dr Janet Ekpenyong has felicitated with the state First Lady, Dr Linda Ayade as she marks another anniversary of her birth today December 23rd 2022. Dr Ekpenyong who described the state First Lady as the most dynamic and elegant leader said, the radiance of her beauty sponge not just within those around her but everyone with direct and indirect contact with her . According to her, Dr Ayade’s selfless and philanthropic gesture has helped given voices, hope and dignity to the women folk, elderly and less privileged in the society. In a combined effort to curb the rampant vandalism of public utilities in Cross River State, the youth leader of Ikot Ansa, Prince, Victor Otu Iso JR, alongside his community, successfully apprehended criminals involved in the destruction of vital public infrastructure. The vandals were caught red-handed this morning, 13th day of September 2024, as they attempted to steal Amor cables belonging to state transformers at Ekpo Iso.
