Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Sen Bassey Edet Otu has today visited accident victims of the bikers parade at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
On hand to receive him were the Director General of the State Primary Health Care, Dr. Janet Ekpenyong.
Sen. Otu who expressed sadnnes over the unfortunate incident prayed God to console the family and loved ones of those who lost their lives, while assuring those in the hospital of his willingness to join hands with the state government and support the medical bills of those hospitalized.
He wished them speedy recovery, reassuring that the incident will be thoroughly investigated and culprits brought to book.
In seperate reactions, some family members of the deceased, appreciated the guber hopefull for his demonstration of love and concern and prayed God to bless his ambition for the overall good of the state.
The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Public Utilities, Engr. Dr. Jerome Egbe, KSM, today, October 8, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Cross River Command, Mr. Brown Charles, in Calabar.
