Cross River Muslim Community: Sarki Garuba Congratulates Governor Elect, Otu Urges Prayers for Successful Tenure

< div> The head of Muslims and Sarki Hausa/Fulani Community in Cross River State, Alhaji Garuba Lawan, has congratulated the Governor elect , Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, over his victory at the March 18,Governorship Election,wishing him a fruitful and successful tenure.
<,div> Sarki,In a message signed onbehalf of the Muslim Community in the state, prayed that Otu's tenure will be a successful and exemplary in the history of Cross River State.
Lawan commended Governor Ben Ayade for bringing political stability to the state through a peaceful and successful rotational arrangement that produced the Governor elect.
< nodiv> He said both Ayade and Otu have track records of non discrimination of religious, tribal or ethnic differences ,an attributes that guarantee peace and good neighbourliness to work together towards building a strong, united and prosperous Cross River State and Nigeria.
"I congratulate the Governor elect, Prince Bassey Otu Muslim faithful on his well deserved election victory,which he won by popular majority votes, across the three senatorial Districts of Cross River State.
"As a law abiding citizens,we will continue to be partners in progress on policy decisions of the government that reflect our collective inputs as a people and sustain the peaceful co-existence of all in Cross River State" the statement said.
